What my Assetto Corsa app offers.

SkinSync P2P

• Automatic skin synchronization between players in real time
• Direct transfer between players, the server never stores or sees your skins
• Compatible with server change without restarting
• Automatic cleanup of downloaded skins based on the time you set
• Live active skin system: others instantly see your current skin
• Integrity check: does not download what you already have installed

Windows 10 can produce a false positive.

• Installation / Setup

  ·Place the SkinPlugin folder wherever you want, it contains the necessary material. Inside you will find 2 folders and a png.

  ·Drag app to CM to install the Plugin, if you already had one do a "clean install".

  ·Inside main.dist, you'll find the executable. Add it to the "Firewall exceptions" for both Public and Private networks. You can create a .exe shortcut if you like.

  
  

Instructions: Run the program first before starting a race. 

·When the panel opens, choose the path to my lua app: /assettocorsa/app/lua/SkinSyncPlugin <-select

·Select TTL in days. This is the automatic deletion of downloaded folders.

·Press Start and the panel will minimize. Right-click on it if you want to close it.

• Zip:
  ·In your car’s skin folder, create another folder named to_sync.
  Place the zips inside: maximum of 2.

·Put the PNG included with the download into the to_sync folder so it’s easier to distinguish from the others.
·Choose any skin that does not exceed 100MB, compress it to ZIP with a right click, and put it in to_sync.
The transfer happens automatically between players when entering the track.

Only ZIP files are allowed. You cannot send .RAR, .7z, or any other formats.

• Maximum ZIP size: ≤ 10 MB
• Maximum individual file size (dds, png, etc.): ≤ 30 MB
• Maximum number of files inside the ZIP: ≤ 30
• Maximum skin folder size (uncompressed): ≤ 100 MB
• Maximum skins shared simultaneously: 2

Dangerous extensions, executables, or scripts are not allowed. The ZIP will be rejected.

All content is verified before being sent.
